The people of Laos reflect the character of their country – serene, charming and intriguing. Laos has only recently opened its doors to travellers and offers awesome cultural experiences.
Starting in Bangkok, we travel through Laos, following the Mekong River to the former royal city of Luang Prabang, picturesque Vang Vieng and the sleepy capital of Vientiane. Heading east, we cross into Vietnam and board the northbound train to Hanoi.
