Some things you only learn are essentials when you find yourself without them. Learn from my mistakes and don't forget to pack the following things!
On more adventure oriented trips, daily showers aren't always possible. Today's dry shampoos are nothing like their predecessors, they are easy to use and extremely effective.
These aren't available everywhere. Avoid unpleasant surprises and bring enough for the duration of your voyage.
Whichever method you prefer, it can sometimes be difficult to find birth control on the road. Be sure to bring enough to cover you for the entire length of your trip. Even if you are travelling solo, it is always a good idea to bring condoms. You never know who you might meet along the way...
Sun, sand, and salt can do a number on your pucker. Do your lips a favor and plan in advance!
Pack them in a zip-lock bag, so you'll have easy access on the road.
Quick dry underwear
Seriously, nothing is worse than wet underwear!
This versatile item can be a towel, curtain, pillow, blanket, scarf, shawl, or skirt. Talk about the more diverse item in your travel wardrobe!
Thongs, jandles... what ever you call them, they are indispensable when it comes to travel. Comfortable, lightweight, and easy to clean! However, don't forget to pack sturdy shoes with covered toes as well!
Stray eyebrow hairs aren't the only reason to bring tweezers along! Small medical issues, such as splinters can be fixed with a pair. Of course, the ability to neaten up your brows is always a plus!
A hair band
If you have long hair, it will get in your face. If you have short hair, it will be a mess. A nice hair band can make things a little neater. Who doesn't like to feel nice sometimes when traveling?
