They’ve got red hair, cheeky personalities and 360-degree rotatable hips – no, they’re not the satanic spawn of Fred and George Weasley, they’re the orangutans of Borneo.
The highest point in South East Asia? Check. Orangutans? Check. The kind of scenery that looks like it’s straight out of the Jungle Book? You betcha.
What we’re getting at here is that Borneo has a lot going for it. And when you visit Borneo with Geckos, you can float down the Kinabatangan River, climb Mt Kinabalu, search KK for the best food you can find, and of course…just sit around and take it all in.
It’s pretty much the best way to see Borneo you can possibly think of.

Discover Sabah, July 2016
We have just finished the Discover Sabah Tour in Borneo. It was fantastic. Our tour guide was excellent (Johmin) and our little group (3persons), transits (bus, plane, boat etc) and the activities (Mount Kinabalu, Kinabatangan River, Sepilok Orangutan Rehabilitation Centre...) were all great! Thank you very much for the good and unforgettable time. Tim & Jenni

Discover Sabah, April 2016
Sabah is an amazing place to explore. This trip had everything from hiking up Mt Kinabalu to relaxing by the beach. This was my first group tour and I loved it. Our tour guide was excellent and we had the opportunity to meet a lot of local people and support local communities. Excellent experience.
