Our approach to responsible tourism means that Peregrine only employs tour leaders and guides who are local to the destination. We prefer local + leaders because they can speak the language, read the menus, identify fruit in the markets, explain the culture and give our clients an insight into their homeland's lifestyle and traditions in a way that a most foreign leaders cannot.
The three exceptions are our polar expeditions (where we employ leaders from around the world with specific skills), our Himalayan climbs (where we employ both local guides and a foreign expedition leader on each trip), and multi-country trips (where we employ leaders born in the region).

Search & Social Media Coordinator
This new role in our marketing department is responsible for the development and implementation of the Search and Social Media strategy to increase page rankings, traffic and engage visitors to increase online sales. To be successful, you should have at least 3 years experience in online traffic generation, good knowledge of social media and experience with at least one major web analytics tool.
