Would anyone like to see a giant golden boulder perched perilously at the edge of a cliff, a city of 4,000 stupas, or 777 steps leading to the prettiest shrine you ever did see? Um, hellz yeah!
Rudyard Kipling and George Orwell have spent time there and written about it, so Myanmar's alright in our book. Speaking of books, if Myanmar was a novel, it’d be an epic tale of a country torn between good and evil, which is basically what it was until very recently.
But the country’s dramatic past doesn’t stop the locals from smiling, especially when they’re welcoming visitors to their incredible shores.
Get to Inle Lake, cruise the Ayeyarwaddy River, grab some wares in the Bogyoke Aung San Market and take in more temples than you can shake a statue of the Buddha at.
Do not pass Bagan's 2000 Pagodas, do not collect $200.

Discover Myanmar, February 2017
Oh boy did we discover Myanmar with Geckos! We covered so much ground in this beautiful country within the two weeks, and at the end, it was hard to say goodbye. Prepare yourself and your cameras to witness the best sunrises and sunsets of your life, all while eating delicious food, meeting kind locals and making lifelong memories. If you don't have Myanmar on your bucket list, then you're crazy!

Discover Myanmar, May 2017
This trip is a great way to experience Myanmar, immersing yourself in the wonderful culture of Inele lake, a fantastic day exploring the countryside of Kalaw and experiencing the hustle, bustle, and interesting history of the cities. Quite a relaxed tour but with lots of optional activities to keep you busy, would definitely recommend the cooking class and trekking around Inele lake!
