Germany may be small, but it sure is mighty. From the humbling history and underground grunge/ art culture of Berlin to the gingerbread houses, fairytale-like castles and cobbled streets of the sprawling villages, Germany is altogether a pretty rad place.
We mainly like it because there’s lots of sausage and beer and pretzels. There’s also Lederhosen, and honestly, is there anything better in this world than Lederhosen?
And you have to give it to Beethoven, Bach and Wagner – they were rockstars back in the day. Pretty much the Beyonce, Lorde and Jay Z of the 17 and 1800s. And Germany was home to all three. Rock on, Germany.
