Amalfi's 'Pathway of the Gods'
  • When it comes to coast with the most competitions, Italy has a pretty good hand to play. On this trip you’ll get to slink along Amalfi’s stunning cliff tops, strut your way through la-di-da Capri, gorge yourself silly on gelato and luxuriate on a yacht – all amongst decidedly non-snobbish company.

Amalfi is named after the bloke who founded the town. Some guys came up to him afterwards and said, 'Who are you?' (in Italian, of course). And he said 'I’m Alfie'. So it was all a big mistake, really. How awkward.*

    *None of this is true.

    Day 1 - Amalfi

It's all about glitz, glamour and gorgeousness here... until you spill pizza sauce on your white capris and ruin the illusion. Don't worry, we won't judge you (but the locals might).

The adventure begins on with a group meeting at 1pm on Day 1

Why not take a half-day walk along the narrow trails to gain stunning views

Stroll by ancient buildings, olive groves, vineyards and villages

Alternatively, enjoy the medieval architecture of the cathedral of Sant'Andrea and convent of the Cappuccini amongst many other notable sites

    Day 2 - Capri

Capri is famous for its setting and beauty. It's also famous for its dramatic and rocky coastline, natural grottoes and citrus groves. Capri's got a lot going for it, basically. See for yourself.

Sail to the Isle of Capri, home to the mythical Sirens and holiday palaces of the ancient Roman Emperors

Explore the island including the Blue Grotto

Take a dip water for a bit of swimming and snorkelling

Dock in the marina tonight, with time to explore the old town

    Breakfast | Lunch

    Day 3-4 - Procida

Procida is a good place to finish up a sailing trip for the following reasons: the seafood is delicious, it's got heaps of archaeological sites and it's still situated on the coast. Trust us, we know what we're talking about.

Look forward to a morning of relaxing in the sun and swimming from the yacht as you make the journey to the island of Procida

Take a walk and look down upon the Marina Corricella from the 16th century Castello d'Avalos

Perhaps visit the Abbazia di San Michele Arcangelo, a Benedictine Abbey and museum featuring a maze of catacombs

Maybe head directly to the unpretentious Marina Corricella itself, and enjoy the wealth of local seafood from one of the many restaurants of this classic seaside town.

The trip ends around 10am on day 4
