Giza is home to perhaps the greatest iconic structures ever created by man - the Pyramids and the Sphinx. Instantly familiar yet retaining a mystique and power, getting up close to these incredible pharaonic tombs is captivating. One of the world’s great museums, the idea of seeing all of the Egyptian Museum’s treasures in a day is as laughable as scaling one of the Pyramids before breakfast.
