Pagudpud

Pagudpud

The final northern hurrah of the country’s main island, life’s a beach on Pagudpud, and little else. A string of snow-white stretches of sand and diamond-clear water that are sufficiently remote and inaccessible to have retained a low-key Garden of Eden vibe, if there’s more than a dozen people on your beach here, it’s a busy day. Here’s the perfect Filipino plan: take time out in Pagudpud doing a whole lot of nothing before heading to Borocay, its feisty, fizzing cousin further south, for some higher-octane fun in the sun.  Then try choosing your favourite.
