Kick off your trip in Kathmandu, go rafting and hang in Pokhara. Head off on your trekking adventure in Annapurna, stay in rad lodges, take a bazillion photos, fall in love with Nepal, then head back to Pokhara and Kathmandu. 


Macchapucchre. Birethanti. Syauli. Bhichok Deorali. We don’t expect you to be able to say them, but after this trip you can definitely say you’ve seen them.

Day to Day Itinerary

Day 1: Kathmandu

Accommodation: Hotel Shakti or similar, Kathmandu

Meet up with your crew for a chat about your trip. Get to know each other over a bite to eat in the Thamel area.

Feed your spiritual side at Bodhnath Stupa, one of the biggest Buddhist shrines in the world. Then feed your hungry side at Yak Cafe (not very popular with actual yaks).

Day 1

If arriving early, perhaps wander down to Kathmandu's Durbar Square

Day 2-3: Pokhara

Accommodation: Tulsi Hotel or similar, Pokhara

Enjoy a morning drive over the rim of the Kathmandu Valley and, weather permitting, views of the Ganesh, Manaslu and Annapurna ranges. Arrive in Charaudi for an exciting white water raft on the Trisuli River. Hit the water and enjoy the thrill of the rapids aptly named Ladies Delight, Upset and Surprise. Camp on the beach enjoy dinner by the river


Day 3 

Day 4: Ghandruk

Meals included: 1 lunch, 1 dinner

We'll do about 5 hours trekking each day (you'll walk off those momo in no time), following the Modi Khola River to Ghandruk. Stay in lodges, meet villagers and try to refrain from filling up your memory card in the first hour.

Day 5: Tolkha

Meals included: 1 breakfast

Day 6: Hyenjakot

Day 6 – Hyenjakot


Day 7: Pokhara

Your Trip

What to know

A good level of fitness is required. You will trek on hilly terrain, generally on well-defined paths, walking between 4-5 hours per day. Altitude may exceed 2200 metres - check the trip notes for details.

International flights, arrival and departure transfers, airport/departure taxes, visas, pre or post tour accommodation, all other meals, optional tours sightseeing or activities during free time, transfers outside of the tour program, travel insurance, tips and items of a personal nature, laundry and flights unless specified.

A good quality sleeping bag is required for this trip. These are available for hire in Kathmandu.

Thisa trip is due back into Kathmandu on day 8 around 3pm, we suggest you factor in delays and do not book your flight out of Kathmandu prior to 7pm.
