Loved my tour with Geckos. Was a great way to see the country and the real people. Was great with a small group as more personal and our guide was always there to answer our questions and inform us of local history and interesting facts. Definitely planning my next holiday with Geckos.

Exceptional guide. Has a good knowledge of the history. Fitted in some extras which I think was paid out of the tip kitty. We encountered a problem with a purchase we made and e-mailed him afterwards, to which he responded probably in 5 minutes. A trip I would absolutely recommend.

Morocco has been overwhelming hapless travellers for centuries. For out-of-towners, the cities are hard to navigate, seemingly encrypted by some of the best cypher since WW2.
Oh yes, Morocco can be a formidable opponent at times, but there’s a reason so many keep travelling back for more: culinary rewards, cultural riches, musical magic and electric experiences await the folk that make the journey.
Buck the system and join a Geckos tour to receive a bounty of local wisdom, designed to maximise your time and minimise your hassles.
You’ll get to visit Berber villages in the High Atlas Mountains, sway across Saharan dunes atop a camel, skulk around Fes’ impressive medina and chill in Essaouria’s cafes. All this can be yours.
Join us in Morocco for the win.

Exotic, atmospheric and other worldly, the Middle East and North Africa are dream destinations for travellers looking for a good dose of different: the endless alleys and lanes of medinas in Morocco; the unique blend of religious history and iconic sights in Israel; the ancient monuments and relaxing waters of the Red Sea in Egypt; the souks of Aleppo in Syria; the hidden jewels of Petra and the Dead Sea in Jordan; the ancient roman ruins in Libya; the underground ‘Star Wars’ houses in Tunisia; and the strange formations and carved churches of Cappadocia in Turkey.
With amazing natural landscapes, camel treks and even camping under the Saharan stars, your Arabian adventure will have you enchanted and entranced from deep desert to Mediterranean coast.View all Middle East & North Africa trips
