About
Our favourite things about Bolivia
- Bewitching La Paz
La Paz basically sits in a giant bowl so the bus ride down into the city is hairy but awesome. Enjoy free time to roam the cobblestone streets, shop for kitsch souvenirs at Calle Linares and dried llama foetuses at the Witches' Market.
Salt Pan excursion
Spend two nights in Uyuni exploring the salt pans, take a spin across them in 4WDs.
Sweet old Sucre
There's a lot of history to take in at Sucre. Take some tours of Old Sucre's monasteries and chapels, then why not jump on a horse or head into the countryside.
Top points for Potosi
If sitting out in the mains square with a plate of saltenas and empanadas while gossiping about your friends is good enough for the locals, then it's good enough for us too.
Inca Trekking
Hike, trek, hike some more, trek again, and then hike. It’ll take a bit of effort to get there, but reaching Machu Picchu is an incredible experience.
