Borneo (Malaysia)
Borneo is an exotic cocktail of wildlife-rich jungle, massive caves and underground rivers; unique fauna and fascinating history; white sand beaches and tropical waters. Tuck into a hawker’s street stall noodle broth after a trekking jungle trails or exploring the caves of Gunung Mulu National Park; watch rapt while the original wild man of Borneo ambles through the forest and feeds at the Sepilok Orang-utan Centre; climb Mount Kinabalu National Park to greet the sunrise and revel in an epic panorama; spend an evening downing the local firewater, tuak rice wine getting to know your headhunter hosts and stay overnight in their riverbank longhouse: Borneo is old-school adventure from shoreline to treetop.

Two main tour leaders were excellent as were all of the local guides brought in. Professional, organised, everything went like clockwork. They were also friendly and informative.
