My Thai

Koh Samui sea bath.
  • Another day, another island. Sail from Koh Samui to Koh Tao via Ang Thong Marine Park, lotsa white sand beaches, some sweet snorkelling and, you know, general paradise stuff.

Brush up on your sailing terms for this one:

    - Emergency flares - old pair of trousers to wear if you fall overboard
    - Rhumb line – when two or more crew members are waiting for a drink
    - Swell – a really, really great wave

Day 1 - Koh Samui - Mai Nam Beach to Ang Thong Marine Park

He'll be the skipper. You'll be his best mate. It's a match made in sailing heaven. Ang Thong Marine Park is made up of 42 islands and loads of animals. The only one we care about is the crab eating monkey. Let us know whether it's as amazing as it sounds. Swap your flip-flops for something a bit sturdier when you climb to the Emerald Lake lookout.

Meet your skipper, yacht and other passengers in the early afternoon and set sail for Ang Thong Marine Park, a fascinating group of 42 islands featuring lime stone massifs, dense forrests which are home to Langurs, Crab Eating Monkeys, Monitor Lizards, Hornbills  and deserted beaches.  Highlights include the beautiful Koh Mae Beach and Thale Nai Snorkelling  (Emerald Lake) Lookout. Climb to Emerald Lake which is fed by an underground cave for a spectacular lookout (need good footwear)

Day 2 - Ang Thong Marine Park

Discover the natural beauty, explore the coves and overlapping limestone half pipes by kayak and marvel the underwater world while snorkelling in the famous Ang Thong National Marine Park.  Finish the day by dropping anchor and enjoy your own barbeque right on one of the parks beautiful beaches whilst watching the sun set over the horizon. Ang Thong is great for night squid fishing.

Day 3 - Mae Hat town, Koh Tao

Spend the day sailing to Koh Tao one of Southern Thailand's true tropical island escapes.  Swim in tropical waters, laze on the pristine white sand beaches and take in the stunning scenery before arriving at Mae Hat on Koh Tao.  Head out for the evening to enjoy a delicious Thai meal or have a drink in one of the beach bars.

    Breakfast | Lunch

Day 4 - Koh Tao - Mango Bay

We set sail for Mango Bay, a bay on the northern Tip of Koh Tao for our final leg of the trip.   The landscape consists of high rocky cliffs and lush green hillsides and the clear blue-green waters are great for swimming.  The tour finishes on arrival into Mango Bay at around 10am but there is plenty for you to explore in and around this beautiful part of Koh Tao.
