Sail of the Century
Four days sailing is better than three days sailing. And sailing in Thailand is better than sailing in somewhere that isn’t Thailand. What other reasons do you need?
Day 1 - Phuket
We meet today at 1pm at the Lighthouse Restaurant at Chalong Pier.
Koh Ping Kan is a beautiful island. So is Koh Pan Yi. Today, you'll visit both. Koh Ping Kan is famous for being the setting of a certain movie about a certain English spy who likes martinis. Koh Pan Yi is home to one of the last remaining sea gypsy villages.
Sail to Koh Ping Kan after 3pm
After visiting the island sail to Koh Pan Yi and see a sea gypsy village
Explore the village and ride on a long tail boat through mangrove channels
Stay on an anchorage nearby.Dinner
Day 2 - Phang Nga Bay
After breakfast we start to explore by cruising into the famous Phang Nga Bay where the James Bond movie 'Man with the Golden Gun' was made. Enjoy lunch in remote islands with gorgeous kayaking and swimming spots. Tonight we anchor well off the 'beaten path' in the north-east part of the bay between Koh Klui and Koh Chang.Breakfast | Lunch
Day 3 - Kohn Hong & Railay
Head towards the lonely island of Koh Hong on a boat. If you don't get that reference, you don't deserve to be on a boat, or heading towards a lonely island. Swim and snorkel, then watch the sunset and get amongst the nightlife in Railay.
Sail to Koh Hong
Explore its sea caves on a dinghy
After a trip around Koh Hong stop on a tropical beach for swimming and snorkelling.
Sailing day ends in Railay
Watch the sunset and then dine ashore
Enjoy the nightlifeBreakfast | Lunch | Dinner
Day 4 - Koh Phi Phi
Koh Phi Phi is one of the most famous spots in all of Thailand. It's not hard to see why. There's heaps of marine life, shops, bars, restaurants and of course, beaches. There's a silly amount of backpackers here, but if you don't look them directly in the eye you should be alright. Head on to Phi Phi Le and visit the setting for the film The Beach, which is on a beach. Who'da thunk it?
Sail to the island group Koh Phi Phi
Stop at Phi Phi Don with its colourful marine life, shops, bars, restaurants and fire spectacles - tour ends here about 1pm.
If you have extra time to spend on the islands then head on to Phi Phi Le and visit ‘Maya Beach‘ (from The Beach)Breakfast
