I would recommend Geckos to anyone. I do like how our tour group was young (32 and under), I felt we could connect and bond easier. From day one we were all really close. 16 is a perfect number for a group tour, not too big that you don't become friends with some, and not too small that you get sick of (and stuck with) some people in the group. I loved that there was heaps of free time to explore, whilst also getting the most out of each city due to Tho's recommendations. The drinking water available to refill our drink bottles at each town was a great addition (the money from this was taken from Tho's tipping kitty), this resulted in me drinking more water as I was not constantly opening my wallet for it (not to mention the environmental benefit of refilling drink bottles).

Vietnam in a Banana Leaf

I really enjoyed the time with geckos adventures. It was the first time I had travelled alone an they made me feel extremely comfortable and welcome. I had two tour guides who where both fantastic an knew exactly what they where talking about. I would deffinately think about doing another gecko tour.

Welcome to Vietnam

If you haven’t travelled in Vietnam, you haven’t lived. This country is mesmerizing, intoxicating, mind-expanding and super fun. In Ho Chi Minh City, one of the highlights is the traffic. We kid you not.

Find a safe spot on a roof terrace and be hypnotized by the noisy ballet of motorbikes below. You can stay with local friends in the Mekong, cruise around stunning islands in Nha Trang and Halong Bay, get a new wardrobe in Hoi An and explore Hanoi’s art scene while munching on a baguette.

Vietnam is the kind of place you’ll leave relaxed, amazed, cuisinely satisfied, well-dressed and with a thousand tales to tell. Maybe more.
