LAND OF THE FREE, HOME OF THE BRAVE AND THE BIRTHPLACE OF THE SWIVEL CHAIR, NORTH AMERICA IS A CONTINENT UNTO ITSELF.
From the red rock deserts of Arizona and Nevada to the sun-soaked beaches of California and Florida, the non-stop hustle of New York and Boston to the most beautiful national parks on earth, from manatees to moose, grizzly bears to groundhogs…This. Is. North. America.
But with over 27 million square kilometres to explore, where do you start? Deep-dish pizza in Chicago or craft beer in Brooklyn? Celebrity spotting in LA or a Nashville honky-tonk bar? Hiking in Whistler or blackjack in Vegas? The struggle is real, friends.

OUR DESTINATIONS FOR NORTH AMERICA TOURS
WHY WE LOVE NORTH AMERICA
Visit Jasper National Park’s winter wonderland
This stunning slice of wildlife is loaded with natural wonders everywhere you turn. There’s Maligne Canyon, where waterfalls freeze over in winter, scenic walking trails past hot springs, sparkling lakes and lush forests, and some of the clearest skies for star-gazing. Not to mention all of the wildlife that comes with the great outdoors, like grizzly bears, elk and moose.
Work up a sweat in Death Valley
Death Valley can sound like a frightening place with features like ‘Funeral Mountains’, ‘Furnace Creek’ and ‘Coffin Peak’, but names can be deceiving. Though temperatures can soar as high as 50°C/122°F, it’s also home to pretty awesome geological phenomena. Lather up the sunscreen before exploring its rugged mountains, rolling sand dunes, winding canyons, sun-cracked salt flats and idyllic oases.
Get back to nature at Lake Louise
We’re not sure what’s makes Lake Louis so beautiful – the vivid turquoise colour of the glacial water or the reflection of the majestic Rocky Mountains glittering on its surface. Hike trails that snake through lush forest of Douglas firs, aspen and pine. In the winter, Lake Louise freezes over and the ice is so thick you can skate on it. What could be better than that?
Feel the spray at Niagara Falls
Not all waterfalls are created equal and Niagara Falls has a leg up on most others. The Falls are actually comprised of three separate waterfalls that straddle the border of the United States and Canada, but the one featured on most postcards (and the one you’ll likely take a selfie with too) is the iconic Canadian “Horseshoe” Falls. Best experienced from the water, hop on the Maid of the Mist boat to get up close and personal with all three.
Marvel at the vast Grand Canyon
If a picture is worth a thousand words then a thousand pictures still couldn’t tell you how awe-inspiring the Grand Canyon is. At 450 km long, 630 km wide and 1,600 metres deep, its size will leave you breathless. Two billion years of geological history have been exposed by the Colorado River, which continues to carve its way through the red rock. Marvel at its immensity from the South Rim lookout or hike into the canyon for a completely different perspective.
Hike through lush Yosemite National Park
You don’t need to be an adrenaline junkie to enjoy Yosemite National Park (although there’s plenty of thrill-seeking options if you’re into that). Lace up your boots and discover Yosemite’s towering giant sequoias (some of the largest trees in the world), waterfalls and unusually-shaped granite formations.

Canada Winter Festivals, January 2018
Andrea Flores Castillo
Great outdoor Rockies experience that offered to enjoy winter in Canada without the need for skiing or snowboarding. Our guide knew the hike trails very well and we were at ease to have fun. Definitely a winter wonderland trip.

This tour is the only way to see the Canadian Rockies! A small group of people, travelling in the most environmentally sustainable way possible through this area, and camping under the stars at night. Perfect way to see Canada's natural beauty!
