If Sri Lanka’s known for one thing (aside from being one of the coolest countries in the world, having the friendliest locals, being amazing at cricket, having some of the most jaw-dropping landscapes you’ll ever see in your life and being totally kickass at cricket), it’s their tea.

They are the largest exporters of the stuff in the world, after all. And if there’s one Sri Lankan experience you can’t miss, it’s taking in the sight of the spectacular tea plantations around  the country’s central highlands.
